My spring break trip was fun. We caught a lot of fish called oscars. I was going to put some pictures on here today but i dont have a cord to do it. The score right now is soft plastics-17, rooster tail- 3, crank bait-2, jig-5. But I have caught the biggest bass on a crank bait. it was 3 pounds.

I have been fishing 3 times this week, all in the pond in my backyard. One of the times I only fished for 15 minutes. It is hard to fit in times to go fishing because of baseball practice and games. I caught 3 bass, and they were all under 1 pound. I was fishing in a little inlet where there are a lot of trees when I caught all 3 bass. I haven't spent an equal amount of time for each lure so far. I have used a soft plastic worm more than the other three. Plus, I caught all 3 bass on a soft plastic worm. I was fishing with a junebug color worm rigged on a red jighead. I can't wait until about mid-March, when largemouth bass will be spawning.

For my 20 time project I am going to fish with four different types of fishing lures. They are soft plastic worms, jigs, crankbaits, and rooster tail spinners. I will be keeping track of every fish that I catch and recording it. My goal is to see which type of bait will work the best and catch the most fish. I am guessing that I will catch the most fish with a soft plastic worm because that is what I normally use and I know more about rigging it and fishing with it.
